Party of 2 had the special honor of assisting as hostesses for a 90th Birthday Party for a very special Birthday Boy in April. The event was held at the Rivers Edge Center in Sacramento for family and friends and it wasn’t long before it before it became standing room only at this party!
Mama Kims’ Cooks served a variety of light Appetizers including Prosciutto wrapped Asparagus, which was a huge hit along with some spicy shrimp rolls and other tasty treats as seen in these pictures.
The family had ordered a specialty cake by Sweet Cakes by Rebecca which honored the VIP’s military service in WWII as a flight squadron leader with this replica of a B29 Bomber sitting on a cloud.
Champagne toasts were flowing and glasses were clinking as it is not every day you get to celebrate a birthday boy turning 90 days young!
Entertainment included a DVD presentation of pictures from the birthday boys’ life memories and accomplishments and a “fun” hot off the press newspaper edition of page one from the day the birthday boy was born. Who knew back then you could buy a house for only $6,000?
Party of 2 was very happy to be part of such a great day!
