Carnivale at the Masonic with Party of 2

It was” Carnivale” at the Masonic in Sacramento this past Friday evening as Party of 2 was happy to lend our creative and organizational skills to the Event Professionals Open House held from 5-7pm. The event was held to showcase the participating event and wedding industry vendors and what they have to offer in their respective service category. In the Lobby, attendees were first met with the musical styling’s of Julie Chafin, of Jingles by Julie. What a way to start their week-end and a nice treat while they waited for the elevator to take them to the festivities awaiting for them on the 3rd floor!

Upon arrival on the 3rd floor, guests were greeted at the door and handed their “passport” allowing them entry into “Carnivale” and a chance into the two prize giveaway sessions where the participating vendors gave away dozens of gift certificates for their services or products…score!!!
As can be seen by some of the pics below, the room was full on Carnivale and blazing hot! Color was the name of the game and the vendors brought the Latin scene to the Masonic. If you are planning a wedding or party and looking for this type of look, these are the vendors you need to talk to!!

Entertainment was also a highlight that evening as Terri Taylor and Dancers from Dance10 Studio provided professional dancing and performed three different dance sets during the evening right within the crowd of attendees! Can you say Samba?? Mood Music and Emcee talent for the evening was provided by Suzanne Glassman of MorningStar Entertainment which kept things running smooth and cool! The biggest treat was the excellent tasting tables courtesy of Griselda’s Catering. Needless to say, the crowd was gathered here all night long!
But seriously, what “travel” plans would be complete without a passport photo to complete the trip, which Linda Viglione by Portraits by Linda accomplished with great flair and expertise, and with of course very serious models as seen in these photos! Big shout out to Exotic Plants for the use of the gorgeous Palm plant to make us feel we were in sunny Brazil!
