Party of 2 presented at the ForeverLove Bridal Show held at the Auburn County Fair Grounds in Auburn, CA on January 17, 2010 in our role as the site coordinators for Blackberry Creek, our new partner, and a new wedding venue in New Castle, CA. Blackberry Creek is a privately family owned estate where the Mitchell family as they put it “set out to clear the land every weekend for the next six years. 
Finally, after much hard work and dedication, including living in their barn for a year, their dream was realized. We have planted and landscaped along the way, and have enjoyed every minute of it. We recognize not only the beautiful growth in the land, but also the growth in our lives.” Blackberry Creek’s motto is “A Lifetime of Memories” and we truly believe the couples who start their lives at Blackberry will begin those unforgettable moments there the second they step on the property. For our booth, many of our preferred vendors that we partner with stepped up to contribute in their area of expertise to make the booth extra special! 
Kathy Newby, from Classic Party Rentals supplied the beautiful table setting, with a Castella blue linen and topaz chestnut napkin and we had brides snapping pictures all day! Kirsten Lyon, from Faith Floral Studio provided three completely different live floral arrangements; Cala Lillies and red roses which had brides “oohing and ahhing.”
As prize entries for those brides who booked appointments to view Blackberry, Loren Partain, from Partain Photography supplied a free engagement portrait and Griselda Barajas, from Griselda’s Catering supplied a catered meal for 20! These prizes were great hits with our brides! We are still working on finishing the appointments so we will announce the winner(s) at a later date! Lastly, Party of 2 gave all our brides signature Ethels Chocolates candy coins from Capital Confections.
We also need to say a special thank you to Allison Stahl, Allison Stahl Photography who lent us original photography as seen in this post above from a previous wedding shot at Blackberry, and also provided a slideshow which we used in the booth as well. The Mitchell’s shared their photo album in the booth from Allison which the brides enjoyed looking at too, because they were able to see more of the property in action.
Our day ended on a great note, when our raffle prize, a spa treatment from J. Christiaan Spa and Salon, was won by Kalsey K., one of the brides who booked an appointment to view Blackberry Creek! Karma does exist!
