Lights, Action, Camera! A Perfect Scene for your Wedding or Event!

Party of 2 never knows when we are going to come across something special that could be used for a special event or for decoration at a wedding, so we always carry a camera to capture the perfect moment or product for current couples or future clients.  Imagine our delight when we came across this beautifully landscaped vignette at the recent Northern California Home and Landscape Expo held on January 29-31, 2010 at Cal-Expo in Sacramento, CA.  Notice the globed fountains! The archway just needs to be raised, change out the lights and bring in the bride and groom!

For this view, we can just imagine setting this up on either side of a ceremony area or as the entrance to a reception walkway.    The lighting could be adjusted to reflect the couples, or the events color scheme, as well, to further tie into the mood.  This creation was done by Silverado Building Materials and its landscaping partners. 

Something else caught our eye in this display as we looked up and saw a great way to put a new twist on a dance floor application.  Instead of the “same old” lantern shade lights over the dance floor, why not try these fantastic floral abstract shades?  We think they would add just a great whimsy touch to a spring wedding or event or spice up a jewel toned themed wedding.  These can be purchased at the design center.
