Our Family Wedding, Party of 2, and AFWPI!

Party of 2 was honored to be part of a group representing AFWPI members helping to promote a sneak premier of the movie Our Family Wedding, playing at the Natomas Regal Movie Complex this past Thursday in Sacramento, CA. The movie stars, America Ferrera and Lance Gross and centers around the antics of two highly competitive family patriarchs. High antics ensue and in end the couple ultimately finds true love and learns that when you wed someone you do indeed marry their whole family!
As part of the movie promotion, AFWPI members on hand included; Sheffield Multimedia, Matthew Allen Weddings & Events, Action FlipBooks.com, Jeff Sharpe Photography, Sweet Cakes By Rebecca, and Inspirations by Gina. Of course Richard Markel, Association Director and Julia Markel, Association Vice President was on hand as well. Here’s Gina giving us her best Wedding Planner Smile!
The Zone , Station 100.5 promotion team reps., Julian Soto, Promotion Assistant, and Intern, Emerald Casa, as seen in this photo, 
were on hand overseeing the event as well as their station participated in handing out tickets to the movie goers.
Patrons waited patiently in line for a couple of hours. To make the wait a little better, Rebecca from Sweet Cakes, brought in 200 free samples of her wedding cake! So Party of 2 and Regina Lett, fellow wedding planner, rushed cake into the hands of all those movie goers as fast as we could! We understand they loved the cake! We were not surprised!
All in all in was a fun time with our fellow AFWPI members and just one of the many reasons we are proud to be associated with the wedding industry!
