Every once in awhile I attend a wedding that really wows me. This is the type of affair where the couple goes above and beyond to make their guests feel special and to infuse their personalities into every detail of the event.
The wedding I attended this weekend was just the kind of wedding I love: personal, intimate, and truly well designed. Melody, the bride, is also one of my dearest friends. Getting to watch and participate in the planning of her day was so inspirational.
These photos were taken by me; hence, they don’t nearly do justice to how incredibly beautiful each detail was. But I do hope you enjoy them.
Chapel Photo – Caption: Old Saint Hilary’s, Tiburon, CA
Chandelier – Caption: This hung from a tree at the doorway into the reception hall, located at St. Steven’s Episcopalian Church in Tiburon.
Wishing Tree
Cupcake Table – Caption: These were all baked and decorated by a family friend!
Place Setting – Caption: Homemade jam jars awaited each guest.
Melody and Sarah – Caption: Me with Melody at the end of the night. A beautiful bride, indeed.
Almost all of these details were created by Melody and her “craft crew,” a roster of family and friends willing to pitch in. Please check back next week, as I’ll walk you through some of the do-it-yourself projects Melody and I teamed up on. ‘Til then!
